Update!: WBA make bid for Bougherra whilst late bids may come in.

West Bromwich Albion have made a firm bid for Charltons center back Madjid Bougherra. The interest for Bougherra has been big this transfer window after Real Betis have had a bid declined and one of £2.3mill not answered. Premier League interest is in though and Bougherra is set to leave the valley within the next couple of weeks. Bougherra has been at Charlton since his £2.5mill move to the valley in January 2007. West Brom and Real Betis are not the only clubs interested for the Center Back when late bids may come in from Premier League sides Sunderland and MiddelsBorough and Scottish Giants Rangers. Pardew is set to let Bougherra leave as in his latest interview he stated: "Real Betis have been in the frame for a long while with Madjid. They still are and Madjid will probably be sold, I think."

It is to be believed that Madjid Bougherra is having talks with Tony Mowbray at West Brom within the next 48 hours. Charlton have supposedly accepted a bid what is over £2mill with add-ons included in the deal. It is now up to Bougherra to finish the deal with West Brom or decline and come back to the valley and maybe go to either of the other clubs looking to grab his signature.
