A Second Battlestar Galactica series dvd Spinoff?
The Battlestar Galactica dvd collection franchise might be growing again. The Hollywood Reporter says Syfy is looking to develop a new spinoff from the acclaimed series Battlestar Galactica dvd series one that would be more space-based than the planet-bound Caprica.
Syfy's Mark Stern tells the Reporter, "We're looking for other ways to spin off Battlestar Galactica seasons dvd beyond Caprica. That world is so rich. We're sitting down with (executive Battlestar Galactica dvd set producer) Ron Moore and his team. It would not necessarily be a traditional series."
That last comment is sure to raise speculation on what Stern means. Perhaps an ongoing group of television movies Battlestar Galactica box set, as some wondered might happen when BSG ended last year?

The FOX network hasn’t officially decided if 24 hours seasons dvd is being cancelled after this season.
A casting notice that went out this week seems to confirm that 24 hours dvd set is indeed coming to an end. EW reports that a casting call for a “U.N. Secretary General” was released 24 hours box set and included this notation to agents, “These are the final 24 hours dvd collection episodes, so if some of your name people would like to do something on 24 hours complete series, this is the time for them to do it.”
