An Interesting Question on Grey's Anatomy? Empty An Interesting Question on Grey's Anatomy?

The most interesting question presented is this: Would Walt Disney approve of Grey's Anatomy? The writer of Variety's article says no, but I think the answer is probably more complicated than that.

While Walt was always looking to create entertainment for the kids, he was also concerned with satiating the parents, as well. The thought that Walt Disney would not approve of Grey's Anatomy simply because of its adult themes is foolish and a little naive. You have to believe that an entertainer like Mr. Disney would be for any creation beloved by millions of Americans. Grey's Anatomy isn't CSI either. It's generally a light-hearted, delightful program. I understand that this sort of speculation is a tad silly, but there is some undeniable weight to the question of whether an icon like Walt Disney would appreciate something that, in a roundabout way, was actually created by him. What do you think? Would Walt Disney give a thumb up to Grey's Anatomy or would he be ashamed that his company produces it?
