Kauffman and Crane began developing Friends beneath the title Insomnia Cafe in November to December 1993. They presented the objective to Bright, with whom they had formerly Mickey Mouse Clubhouse dvdworked, and together they pitched a seven-page treatments for South park box setthe series to NBC.
