Bursting into spontaneous song and dance is hardly a new trend for prime time television shows. Lately, it just seems as if every show wants to trot out a musical episode. Next up: Fox's sci-fi series "Fringe dvd box set," in which mad scientist Walter experiences a drug-induced fantasy. The episode airs Tuesday.
