Supernatural: Improvements that could be made?

I was just wondering if anyone thought that there could be any improvements that Supernatural could make. Personally I think Supernatural would become more interesting and amusing if they introduced a permanent girl-preferably with similar training as Sam and Dean so that she's not a total damsel in distress- make her a Veronica Mars smart alec with a slight clue of romantics but mind you I said Slight! Give me your opinions and ideas on Supernatural!
