What do u think kinshin died from?

Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite amine show . I’m here want to ask you a question..

Do you know what Rurouni Kenshin died from? I have heard that some say they died of old age , some says syphilis , or a blood disease contracted when he was Battousai and when he killed many people. They say the blood disease could have happened when he killed them and if he was wounded it could have gotten into his wound.

I have no idea . I really wanna know this. Can you give me an answer ?
