The Best of Star Trek Vol. 2 coming to DVD in November

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the release of volume two of The Best of star trek dvd: The Original Series and The Best of star trek dvd: The Next Generation. Both of these DVD's have been given a November 17 release date.
These DVD's collect the highlights of star trek dvd: The Original Series and The Next Generation and pack them neatly in these single-disc volumes, which each contain four episodes. These are very "bare-bone" DVD's as they just contain a collection of episodes with no special features. While the more hardcore Trek fans will probably be left craving more that can be found in the complete season collections, these "Best of" collections are fantastic for the casual fans.
