Sophie's the chick so far
For the Golf Wholesale Store second time this season Sweden's Sophie Gustafson leads the pack heading into the second round after shooting an early score of 65(-7) at the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship hosted by Nancy Lopez. The Titleist 909 d3 driver 26-year-old Swede finds herself in a familiar place after having led one other time this season during the first round of the LPGA Cup Noodles Ladies Hawaiian Open. Gustafson leads by one over Tour veteran Val Skinner and Amy Fruhwirth at five under and holds a two shot lead over Michelle McGann and number one player Karrie Webb.

With the slight early morning wind, Gustafson opened her day four birdies and an eagle on the front nine before making her first costly mistake of a double-bogey on the 346-yard par four 14th hole, but all was not lost as Gustafson rebounded with a birdie on par four 15th hole. As if her round was not exciting enough, Gustafson put the final touch on with an eagle on the par five 465-yard 18th hole.
