Jordin Sparks, That 70s Show boxset, "Battlefield" (Jive Records)

"Battlefield" may be the perfect title for Jordin Sparks' sophomore CD, simply because you'll struggle to get through her warchest of songs.
The 12-track set is overloaded with too many songwriters and producers — Ryan Tedder, StarGate and T-Pain help out, Lost on dvd, among others. Though all that talent is around, no real direction is. Some tracks sound Celine Dion-esque while others are clearly crafted for Radio Disney.
"Emergency (911)" and "S.O.S. (Let the Music Play)" are meant to be playful and cute, OZ 1-6 dvd, NCIS box set, but they aren't. "Don't Let It Go to Your Head, Dexter season 1-4, Angel box set," a FeFe Dobson cover, Las Vegas dvd series, is clearly not as good as the original, Ally McBeal 1-5, Medium series 1-6, Sex and the City series 1-6, and on "No Parade" and "Let It Rain, Dawson's Creek complete series, Nip Tuck boxset, Supernatural dvds, Cold Case dvd series," Sparks' vocals are impressive but overdramatic.
The majority of the songs are sad love ballads, but Sparks fails to make listeners emotional connect.
The 19-year-old does prove why she deserved the 2007 "American Idol" crown on the groovy "It Takes More" and the first single, The Wire dvds, Dawson's Creek on dvd, Sex and the City box set 1-6, Six Feet Under dvd series, Dawson's Creek boxset, NCIS complete series, "Battefield." Sparks fares better on the songs she penned (she co-wrote four tunes) like "The Cure, Lost dvd box, Ally McBeal dvd box set, THE 4400 seasons, Criminal Minds 1-5dvd, Friends boxset," the powerful "Faith" and the exceptional "Was I the Only One."
CHECK THIS TRACK OUT: "Was I the Only One" is a classic-sounding song that finds Sparks smoothly hitting all the right notes at the right times.

In the issue on sale Friday, NCIS seasons 1-7, Michelle also talks about how her family dynamic has changed since moving into the White House. "It has been the greatest single benefit of this for us as a family," she says. "It means that we see each other every day. And that hasn't happened for most of the kids' lifetime."
"It's rare [for most families] to have dad at home for dinner, The Tudors dvd, to see him in the mornings, to have him there when you go to bed at night, House M.D complete box set, Desperate Housewives on dvd, just to be able to have the casual conversations that happen about life at dinnertime," she adds. "That's been terrific. It's normal. It's more normal than we've had for a very long time."
As far as advice from her predecessors, Medium boxset, "The most unexpected and uniform advice that I got was, South Park collection, Dawson's Creek box set, Go to Camp David, Grey's Anatomy box set, Cold Case season 1-7, early and often, South Park seasons 1-13, The office complete series, The Tudors box set," Michelle says. "It's one place you can go where you feel some level of freedom and an ability to breathe."
On the subject of being a role model, Supernatural complete seasons, Mash dvds, NCIS complete box set, Prison Break dvd box set, she tells TIME: "There are thousands of Michelle and Barack Obamas all over this nation."
