Tea Tree Oil Kills Fish Parasites

An essential oilwholesale lavender oil extracted from the Australianlavender oil wholesale tea tree has been shown in a new experiment to have a parasiticidal effect. A group of expertsexport lavender oil from the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Bristol have just reportedlavender oil export the results ofwholesale jojoba oil a study which examinedjojoba oil wholesale the effects of tea tree oil (TTA) upon Sticklebacks infected with the skin fluke Gyrodactylus.
Their findingsjojoba oil export, which are reported in the journalexport jojoba oil Diseases of Aquatic Organisms, suggest that tea tree oil can reduce the level of Gyrodactyluswholesale jasmine oil and reduce parasitejasmine oil wholesale burden on naturally infected fish. The tea tree oilwas mixed with an emulsifier called Tween 80export jasmine oil (0.01%) and dosed at concentrations ranging from 3 to 30 ppmv (parts per million by volume)wholesale chemical products. All doses had some effectjasmine oil export, and Tween 80 on its own had the ability to kill some Gyrodactylus parasites. The effect was greatestwholesale essential oils when the tea tree oil and Tween 80 were used togetheressential oils wholesale. An extract from the Australian tea tree, Melaleuca alternifolia, is already present in somewholesale essential oils aquarium medications aimed at tackling fungalessential oils wholesale or bacterial infections, such as API's Melafix.
