Gossip Girl- a show solely for idiot teeangers interested in fashion

Is anyone sick of some of the negativity that surrounds Gossip Girl? Mind me, of course Gossip Girl is doing exceedingly well, but I mean, it gets tedious and redundant when people classify the show as something directed towards mindless teenagers who are only into the fashion. The dialogue is extremely witty, the actors in Gossip Girl show amazing raw talent and portray their characters as three dimensional, and the storylines are (generally) well executed.
