Now Chuggington steams into Japan
Country's leading commercial broadcaster Fuji Television Network signs up Ludorum show.
Fuji Television has picked up all licensing rights to Ludorum's pre-school property Chuggington DVDs in Japan - including broadcast, consumer products, home entertainment and publishing.
Fuji Television - which has access to COLD CASE dvd box set Japan's estimated 50 million TV households - has acquired 52 x ten-minute episodes of the COLD CASE on dvd show, which will begin broadcasting this COLD CASE dvd box set summer. A consumer products line will follow in spring 2010.
Chuggington DVD season has now been sold to over 140 countries around the world. Recent launches include Super RTL in Germany, Chuggington DVD set ABC in Australia and Treehouse in Canada.
The show will launch on France's TF1 today COLD CASE (April 1st) and in other key territories throughout the rest of 2009.
