Bent completes City move

Marcus Bent has completed his move to Birmingham City today for a deal what could rise up to £1mill. Bent was a Charlton player for 3 seasons scoring 4 goals in 41 apperances for the addicks. Last season Bent was loaned out to Wigan for a season with a deal for the player if the latics stay up, but in the end Steve Bruce decided not to buy the 30 year old striker top scorer for Wigan last season. Bent was expected to join Cardiff on Monday but he had made a quick change of mind where Birmingham was interested for the striker. The deal with Cardiff was meant to be a fee of £1.5 mill coming to the addicks where as City have payed less for the striker. Within the player leaving it has wiped off a reported £28,000 a week wage bill what rounds up to roughly £2.8 Mill of the wage bill for a whole season. Amady Faye was also listed with Bent when brought back and he is reportedly on trial with Premier League new-comers Stoke City.
