Charlton boss Alan Pardew is set to make a £1.25m bid for Bolton striker Heidar Helguson this week. (Various)
Okay I know its just the BBC's highly fictional transfer talk page, but you cannot be happy with that. Especailly for over a million.

Hmm... not happy! Another striker we do not need! Still will update homepage about this when home from school.

you can not be serious we have enough strikers as it is if any where we need to sighn a creative midfielder thats wat we was lacking last year and another center half helguson be a waste of money if sighn an 1 up front should go for mclean he was awesome for peterborough last year

I heard about that Mclean at peterborough a bit last season.

In today's national papers Heidar Helguson was linked to a Charlton switch. Alan Pardew is expected to make a bid of £1.25mill for the front man who as well can play in CAM. The Iceland star is set to leave the Reebok this season with Sheffield United and Coventry joining the race to sign the 30 year old striker. The bid is expected to be made within the week by the club according to the papers.

He can play CAM if thats in Pards mind but still we should get a proper CM if thats the case

McClean is very promising and I'm a big fan, i part time support Peterbro becuase of my mates, but I'd seriously wait and see how he does at league One level before putting a bid in, maybe wait till january for him.
I was to get a striker, even though he's thirty, I'd go for Jason Scottland off Swansea he has everything, its just a same he got stuck in the SPL for so long.
