US premiere date set for 'Doctor Who'

BBC America has announced a US premiere date for the new series of Doctor Who DVD.
New episodes of JAG complete series dvd collectionthe sci-fi drama will debut Saturday, April 17 on the cable network, according to The Mentalist series dvda press statement.
The upcoming Doctor Who seasons dvdstars Matt Smith as The Doctor and Karen Gillan as Amy Pond. Steven Moffat, who takes over forDesperate Housewives season Russell T Davies this year, heads the series as lead writer and producer.
"Britain has a tradition of Supernatural DVDreinventing its iconic characters, like James Bond and Sherlock HolmesCSI Miami DVD - and Doctor Who," read the statement.
