Supernatural 's Next Hunt

Supernatural on dvd returned to Comic-Con and it brought the brothers Winchester with it, as Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) shed light on Season 6, which takes a page from Season 1's playbook and pits our heroes against some very evil monsters.

"Something is going wrong", Padalecki says of the post-apocalyptic landscape these new monsters prey upon. "We're going after the Alpha Werewolf, the Alpha Vampire." Padalecki says we may see another shapeshifter down the line as Sam hunts down the season 's Big Bad. In doing so, the brothers will find themselves hunting for clues as much as they are hunting for monsters.

"If Supernatural Season 5 was Lord of the Rings in structure, then Season 6 is much more like L.A. Confidential or Chinatown," executive producer and new showrunner Sera Gamble told reporters at Comic-Con this year. "The Season starts with a mystery and a twist," Gamble said, and Sam and Dean are caught in the middle of it.
