Idol, Human Target Lead to Another Fox Win

American Idol's first top 12 elimination helped Fox CSI Las Vegas win an extremely weak Wednesday night permeated with repeats.
Idol drew 20.1 million viewers and CSI New York box set was up 5 percent over the previous week's results show CSI Las Vegas seasons dvd among adults 18 to 49. Its lead-in, Human Target (8 million CSI Las Vegas complete series viewers), was down a bit in the demo, but remained CSI Las Vegas dvd series steady with its competition.
NBC took second place overall against CBS and ABC CSI Las Vegas series dvd, which mostly aired repeats. Mercy (5.6 million Ugly Betty dvd box set viewers) was down in total viewers and in the demo CSI Las Vegas dvds, but Law & Order: SVU (9.5 million viewers) easily won the 10/9c timeslot CSI Las Vegas dvd set.

CBS' only new show, Gary Unmarried, drew 5.9 million CSI Las Vegas season viewers, while its repeats of The New Adventures CSI Las Vegas tv series of Old Christine (5.5 million viewers), Criminal Minds (7.7 million viewers) and CSI NY DVD (7.5 million viewers) were good enough for third place.
ABC's season finale of Scrubs (3.4 million viewers) and a new episode of Ugly Betty box set (3.3 million viewers) were down 20 and 29 percent dvd csi las vegas, respectively.
Taking advantage of ABC's CSI NY dvd box set lousy repeat numbers, the CW snuck into fourth place CSI NY season dvd for the night with America's Next Top Model (3.8 million viewers) and High Society (1.2 million CSI Las Vegas complete series viewers), both of which were up CSI New York DVD against last week among women 18 to 34.
