What a nice show---24 dvd !!

24 what a show. I did not immediately get hooked on it as I already had too many shows to watch when it first came out. I believe I starting watching 24 after the start of its third season and got caught up on rerums later. It is one of my all time favorites because I can and do identify with the character of Jack Bauer. He is constantly put in positions that require a reexamination of a person's fundamental beliefs about what is right and wrong. Many times Bauer must do small acts of evil so that a much greater good can be obtained such as torturing or even killing one or more terrorists in order to save in some cases literally millions of American citizens from gruesome and painful deaths at the hands of our enemies both foreign and domestic. The show demonstrates how sometimes the worst threats come from our very own government through its criminal negligence and/or outright corruption.
